I Need to Sell My RV Fast: Who Has Advice for Me?

Tuesday, April 10th, 2012

I need to sell my RV fast. It’s not that I hate it and it’s not that I’m sick of storing it or maintaining it. I’ve actually really enjoyed owning it, but I need the cash in a hurry. I don’t just want to sell it fast; I actually need to sell my RV fast. It’s not a secret that I’ll be selling it, so I have heard a lot of advice. The problem is that I’m not sure whose advice I should take and whose advice I should ignore. I guess you could say I need some advice on the advice I’ve been getting about selling my RV quickly.

1.    A friend suggested that I simply price it below market value and list it by owner. This didn’t seem to work for me. I got a lot of phone calls and texts, but nothing serious. Most of them had decided that my below market value asking price meant I was absolutely desperate or that there was something wrong with my motorhome, and they were giving me offers that were so low they were ludicrous.

2.    Another friend recommended that I drop some cash into the vehicle to fix and update every little thing, no matter how small. He was sure that no one could resist an RV in pristine condition. I’m unsure of this particular method because, while I do have some cash, it’s set aside for the same purpose that is the impetus for the sale of my recreational vehicle. I would need to increase the price of the vehicle enough to cover the additional cash investment. I just can’t see this resulting in a quick sale.

Is this the best advice there is out there? When I heard of this company (SellMyRVToday.com) I figured it was like the consignment lots here in town, but some of the information I’ve read makes it seem pretty different. The consignment lots here in town don’t seem to specialize in the quick sale. Do I understand your advertising correctly? Do you handle fast transactions without drastically decreasing the price paid for the vehicle? How does that possibly work for you?

One Seller’s Tip: Don’t Sell RV On Consignment if You Want to Sell Fast

Thursday, April 5th, 2012

Don’t sell RV on consignment if you want to get it done fast. If you want to get it done fast, I recommend SellMyRVToday.com. My RV was picked up in 2 days. The recreational vehicle consignment lots take way too long.

Before I called SellMyRVToday.com I attempted to sell my RV on my own “by owner” and when that didn’t work I had it on a consignment RV lot for a while. Neither resulted in a sale that was fast enough for my liking.

I listed my RV for sale on one of the popular online ad sites. I got a lot of interest. I actually showed the vehicle a lot, but more than anything else, I felt it was a waste of my time. I spent a lot of time making appointments, arranging to show the vehicle and then waiting as potential buyers perused the RV. I am fairly certain that not one of the “interested buyers” was actually capable of buying. They were window-shopping on my time.

When I came to this conclusion, I deleted my ad and got in touch with a local dealer that would let me sell my RV on consignment. The overall process and agreement for consignment sales seemed pretty fair. It was going to decrease the hassle for me and I loved that. The only problem was that nothing seemed to happen. The process was too slow for me. It was a waiting game.

I didn’t want to wait for a buyer to stumble upon my RV and love it enough to buy it. I needed someone to love it enough to buy it today. (Please don’t start lecturing me about patience. I’ve heard it. There are just some things that need to happen fast and this was one of them).

That’s when I heard someone recommend SellMyRVToday.com. I am so glad my mother never broke me of the habit of eavesdropping. It’s the most beneficial result I’ve ever experienced from overhearing (i.e. listening intently to) someone else’s conversation.

I got in touch with SellMyRVToday.com and we had a short discussion about my vehicle. I gave them all the particulars. They handled the rest. I can’t imagine anything more convenient. Even better, it was fast. I just wanted to share the info publicly so that others don’t have to eavesdrop in order to get in touch with SellMyRVToday.com. It was definitely the best option for me when it came to selling my RV and I thought everyone should have the opportunity to check it out.

RV Consignment Arizona Lots: Too Many RVs and Too Few Buyers

Monday, April 2nd, 2012

RV Consignment Arizona lots contain many vehicles waiting to be sold. This is fantastic for buyers. The snag is all about the RV seller. When you look at the issue from the seller’s perspective you quickly realize that there are too many RVs and too few buyers. That means that your RV is going to sit on the lot until it is able to stand out amongst all that competition. Sell your RV with SellMyRVToday.com and avoid the competition on the consignment lots.

James P. of Phoenix said, “There are RVs for sale on every corner here and the RV consignment Arizona lots are no different. People are buying, but the chances that they will choose to buy mine are not huge.”

Lisa C. of Prescott said, “We attempted to sell our recreational vehicle on one of the Phoenix consignment lots for RVs. We thought it would be quick because it’s such a huge metropolitan area. It was not fast. It was on the lot for months.”

Kurt G. of Glendale said, “I’ve tried selling my RV by owner. That was no good. I’ve tried selling it on the consignment lots and it was no better. I’m starting to feel like I’m stuck with it unless I want to undervalue it for the buyer.”

Jimmy T. of Tucson said, “I avoid the consignment lots at all costs. There are always too many RVs on the lot. Actually, if I was buying, I wouldn’t avoid the consignment lots, but as a seller, it’s not a good idea. There are too many other RVs that may be cheaper or more eye catching.”

The process of selling your RV does not have to drag on endlessly. SellMyRVToday.com was actually able to help the above individuals. They got in touch after being frustrated by the other options out there and we purchased their RVs. Why did we purchase their RVs? That’s what we do. We buy RVs professionally. Since that’s our job, we’re fast. Most RVs are bought and paid for within 1 to 3 days. That’s a time frame that is unheard of for the consignment lots.

RV Consignment California Lots Aren’t as Sunny as Some Expect

Friday, March 30th, 2012

Many assume that everything is happier in the Sunshine State. There’s more to smile about. People spend their time basking in the sunshine and looking forward to another wonderful day tomorrow. I’m here to tell you that all that junk that frustrates you in your inclement weather is still frustrating in the bright sunlight. For instance, RV consignment California lots aren’t as sunny as some expect.

Sunny days and nice weather are all well and good, but my RV is still sitting on the same lot it’s been sitting on for months. That’s not any happier because the sun is shining on it while it sits there. In fact, I think it may be getting sun damage without the typical covering it has when in storage. So the sunny aspect of the RV consignment California lots only increases my frustration.

I decided that I wasn’t going to put up with it anymore. I should be able to stop worrying about selling my RV. I’d been worried about it for months already. That was enough. I considered just forgetting the entire thing and putting it back in storage until I had refilled my capacity for patience and could try again. Then I found SellMyRVToday.com. Apparently, we should all be selling our RVs through this company.

SellMyRVToday.com is a professional buyer of RVs. They are actually one of the largest RV buyers in the country. They don’t try to help you sell your vehicle. They actually buy it. You get to skip the middleman and that means skipping the months long waiting game. It’s enough to make me want to take a break and bask in the sunshine while they prepare the transaction, handle the details and then send me my certified funds. Since the entire transaction is usually completed within 1 to 3 days with SellMyRVToday.com I could actually take a couple days off work. I could sit back and enjoy the fact that I no longer have to worry about selling my RV because a professional RV buyer is purchasing it. I love working with professionals. It makes everything run smoothly and decreases my stress level; especially when it’s in relation to something as big as the sale of my motorhome.

I Need Someone to Help Sell My RV

Tuesday, March 27th, 2012

Who can actually help sell my RV? I don’t really want advice on selling a recreational vehicle and I don’t want to add my vehicle to a consignment lot already overflowing with RVs. I’m smart enough to know that’s not going to work very well. It will probably eventually work, but I don’t have a lot of time on my hands and I have plenty of other things to worry about. It’s not even worth selling my RV if it’s going to cost me months of worrying about the final sale and working towards finding a buyer.

What I need is someone to help me sell my RV right now. I don’t want to sell it next month or next year or a few months from now. From what I hear, that’s the basic time frame for the RV listed “for sale by owner” as well as most of the vehicles that are added to the local consignment lots.

I think I’m a pretty patient guy until someone asks me to wait, and then I realize once again that I’m not. I accept this about myself. I know that sitting and waiting for my RV to sell for months would make me completely insane. I don’t particularly want to be insane so I’m veering away from methods that would require this excessive amount of time. Instead I kept looking for other options.

What I found was SellMyRVToday.com. This company buys RVs. That means that I get to skip the “Help me! Help me sell my RV” entirely. I simply get to sell my RV; almost immediately. They’re apparently one of the largest RV buyers in the country. They are professionals and they are in the business of buying RVs. That means that they really know what they’re doing. Because of their knowledge and experience of this very specific transaction, their process is a lot faster than most thought possible. When it’s time to sell an RV, SellMyRVToday.com is the fastest way to get it done. You don’t have to try to sell your RV through any sort of semi-guaranteed process. You contact the company and they buy your RV. It’s as simple as that. They buy RVs that are 2002 and newer except fifth wheels and travel trailers. I’ve never experienced anything simpler.

RV Consignment Florida Lots: Fact and Fiction

Sunday, March 25th, 2012

SellMyRVToday.com can sell your RV a lot faster than any RV consignment Florida lots. It’s not a matter of opinion. It’s a fact.

Fact: Most RVers do not own the same RV their entire life.

Fiction: The only way to get from one RV to the next is to trade it in to a dealership.

Fact: Most RVers sell to other RVers through traditional methods like “for sale by owner” or consignment lots.

Fiction: When selling an RV owners must be prepared to wait for months.

Fact: Many “for sale by owner” and consignment lot sales do take months, but through SellMyRVToday.com the process can take as little as 1 to 3 days.

Fiction: Selling an RV is a lot of hassle for very little reward.

Fact: With SellMyRVToday.com there is very little hassle because as a professional RV buyer, we know the process and we take care of all the annoying details. The speed with which the transaction is handled (typically completed within 1 to 3 days) means even less hassle because there’s almost no time to worry about the sale.

Identifying the fact and fiction of the options available for RV sales is important when trying to decide which direction to go. RV consignment Florida lots are available. They are professional and effective. They just aren’t as effective as working with a professional RV buyer. It’s hard for a consignment lot to compete with the opportunity to take your RV for sale directly to one of the largest recreational vehicle buyers in the country.  With SellMyRVToday.com RV owners looking to sell can cut out the middleman and quit worrying about “finding” a buyer. As soon as they call, they’ve already found one.

I’m Selling My RV, But Not On a Texas RV Consignment Lot

Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

I have a recreational vehicle for sale and Texas RV consignment lots take far too long. With SellMyRVToday.com I can complete the sale within a few days.

I have loved the RVing lifestyle for over a decade. I’m not ready to back out yet. I love the RV lifestyle a bit too much, but I do want to sell my current RV and buy another one that suits the changes in my personal life. I know that Texas RV consignment lots are much easier than selling by owner, but it’s still a long, arduous process. Sometimes they even take months to complete a sale.

Selling through a Texas RV consignment lot means a decrease in the paperwork hassle for the owner. It also means less hassle when it comes to dealing directly with potential buyers. The professionals on the consignment lot will handle this portion of the sale. Unfortunately, selling on a consignment lot means parking your vehicle next to a lot of other vehicles for sale. Your vehicle may or may not stand out amongst the grouping on the lot. There may be others willing to sell below market value. You might find that you have to wait a long time to get a fair price on the RV.

If you don’t have that sort of time to spare, you might want to avoid the Texas RV consignment lots and stick instead to the more timely process offered at SellMyRVToday.com. There were a lot of benefits discussed when I started looking into the SellMyRVToday.com process, but the one that I couldn’t stop thinking about was the ridiculously fast nature of the selling process when SellMyRVToday.com was the one buying the RV. Most deals through SellMyRVToday.com take 1 to 3 days; mine took 2. I couldn’t be more pleased.
