Not Just Any RV Consignment Dealers

Friday, January 20th, 2012

You want to sell your RV. You may have loved your recreational vehicle. You may have hated it. You may have taken it out every weekend and holiday for the past 4 years, or perhaps you’ve never pulled it out of your driveway (It happens). We don’t care. We’re in the business of buying RVs. That is simply what we do. We’re not just any RV consignment dealers, we are the best and the most efficient. We know what you’re coming to us for and we’re ready to provide it.

We know that you don’t want to handle the paperwork. The title transfer process is traumatic and anxiety-ridden for those who have never handled it before. You don’t want to learn the process. You don’t want to be responsible for the possibility that you could do it wrong. Horror of horrors…you could sign on the wrong line! The ramifications of just such a silly, seemingly meaningless mistake can be massively obnoxious and annoying. You don’t have time for that!

We know that you are a little nervous about making sure that the bank is paid off while making sure that any extra funds are deposited into your bank account without any problem. We’ve all heard the horrible stories of rip-offs completed through “for sale by owners” and funds that never actually came through with no way to contact that “buyer” (the one that seemed so nice and trustworthy). You don’t want to worry about that!

Then there’s the time involved. The time you will need to dedicate to creating ads, getting the RV for sale info out there for the buyers to find, and fielding the interested phone calls, texts, and emails. You’ll also need to sift through the riff raff to identify the serious buyers, or you’ll be inundated by no-show appointments and “for fun” lookers that you really don’t want to spend your free time hanging around.

So what do you do? That’s easy. You don’t do anything we’ve just discussed. That would be a waste of  your time. Instead, you simply get in touch with us here at SellMyRVToday.com. We don’t find any of the above tasks horrible or annoying because it’s our job. That’s our 9 to 5 (plus nights and weekends). We like it, because that’s what we do. We’re RV consignment dealers. We buy RVs. So if you have one to sell we’re a great bet! You want to sell, and as a solid, reputable RV consignment dealer, we definitely want to buy. And as you may have noticed in our company name, we want to buy TODAY! So let’s get moving.

RV Consignment Southern California – Dear Sir or Madam:

Friday, December 30th, 2011

Dear Sir or Madam:

I want to thank you for the help you offered by purchasing my Recreational Vehicle from my children.  I am a widow, and I am no longer able to enjoy the RV lifestyle, so I gifted my motorhome to my four children.  It was one of the very large types that look like one of those big tour busses.

Bless their hearts, my children were grateful, and tried very hard to use it, but neither of the four had a place to store it, and I have moved out of the larger home that my husband and I used to live in.

I know the kids thought they would hurt my feelings if they said they wanted to sell my RV, but I told them it would be silly not to.  The motorhome for sale was worth a great deal of money, and those kids and their families could use a little boost like that.

My son pulled up RV consignment Southern California on the computer, and looked to see if any RV consignment  Southern California dealers would be interested in it.  So many seemed like they might like to buy my RV, but what they offered was offensive.  They were also very unfriendly.  Then we found Helpsellmyrvtoday.com.  Not only were you friendly, you said that you offered an amount of money that I thought was very reasonable, and to top it off, you said you would come get it.  You also promised to handle a lot of the paperwork for us too, so my son accepted the deal.  Everything you promised came to pass.

I so appreciate the fact that you didn’t try to take advantage of us, and that you maintained such a professional demeanor through the whole thing.  Thank you on behalf of my children and I.

Sincerely,

Edna Ramondes – San Diego, California

Consignment RV Sales Houston

Hello,

I am the skeptical student who won the RV in the gameshow.  In my last letter to you I stated that I was very skeptical that you would come through with the purchase of my RV.  You actually did show up at my door two days after we spoke, and you issued me a check for the price we had agreed.  If you happen to have any humble pie, please send me a slice and I will eat it.  You really are what the people write about on your blog.  Add me to the list of admirers (and believers).

Kindly,

No Longer a Skeptic in Houston

Consignment RV Sales Houston – Hopeful but Skeptical in Houston

Monday, December 19th, 2011

Hello,

I live in Houston and I want to sell my 2007 32’ Class C RV.  I’m a college student, and I won this motorhome on a game show (which will remain unnamed), but I have no business owning an RV.  I have no time to use it, nor do I have anywhere to store it.

I have found that in the field of consignment RV sales, Houston seems to be a real hot spot, so, obviously I pulled up consignment RV sales Houston, and here’s what I found; about a bazillion sites that all talk about how they sell RVs!  I changed my strategy and typed in “best consignment RV sales” and Sellmyrvtoday popped up.  I started reading people’s different experiences they had gone through with you, and I could not find anyone who had anything bad to say about what they had experienced as they sold their RV with you.  I mean, usually you can find SOMEONE who has had a bad experience, but honestly, I found no negative comments.

Here is the kicker; you said you would actually come get my RV, hand me a check and drive it away.  I am so leery about businesses these days, and talk is so cheap, that you must forgive my skepticism.  However, because of all the great things people have said on the Internet about you, I’m gonna give it a shot.  I just want you to know that I am a skeptic.  I did call your office and they are supposed to send someone out to pick up my motorhome and hand me a check.  Let’s hope that really happens … this year!  I won this unit because I am smart, so I hope I’m doing this the smart way.

Sell RV On Consignment – Dear SellMyRVToday.com

Friday, December 16th, 2011

Dear SellMyRVToday.com,

I had never heard of your company, but last week I saw a sign that said “Sell RV on Consignment” and I had to know what it meant.  I have an RV and I have considered selling it, so I pulled up Sell RV on consignment on Google and your name popped up.  I guess you are a pretty big company, and it looks like you’re not selling anything, you just want to buy!  I guess I’m a little leery about selling to any organization because I somehow feel like I’m going to get cheated out of something.  I’m not being harsh, I just need everything I can lay my hands on to survive, as I am elderly and I don’t have much in the way of cash.

I would just like to know … what is in it for you at Sellmyrvtoday.com?

Sincerely,

Margaret Ellingson

Sell RV On Consignment – Dear Mrs. Ellingson

Thursday, December 15th, 2011

Dear Mrs. Ellingson,

We so appreciate your letter from last week, regarding the purchasing program we have in place.  First, we would be very interested in selling your recreational vehicle for you.  We are grateful you saw that “Sell RV on consignment” sign!

We can understand your concern for how we make our money.  We know that you don’t want to leave any “cash on the table.”  We take your used motorhome and we recondition it, making sure that it is clean, in good running order and that all of the paperwork is prepared for the sale.  If repairs need to be done, we do them.  We have also spent over twenty years building up a reliable marketing strategy for RVs, and as a result, we have a wide clientele who come to us when they are looking to buy a recreational vehicle such as yours.

We do charge more for your RV than we pay, otherwise we could never stay in business, but be assured it is with the purpose of covering the cost of the improvements we put into those used vehicles coming in to our store.

We appreciate you taking the time to write us, and we hope to get a call from you requesting that we help you sell your RV.

Warm Regards,

Sellmyrvtoday.com

RV Consignment Dallas

Monday, December 5th, 2011

For an RV consignment, Dallas must be the place to live.  I’m a cheerleader coach here in the Dallas area, and I am very wrapped up in my career.  I do a lot of traveling, and I work long hours.  When the tryouts and/or the rehearsals get fast and furious, I can’t even get home most of the time.  I used to rent a hotel room, until I smartened up and purchased a motorhome that I can stay in while at the stadium.

Before long my lifestyle caught on, and my assistants started asking if they could stay with me in my RV so they wouldn’t have to drive home either.  This became more and more frequent, until I had to sell my RV and get into something bigger.  I did not have time to play around finding a buyer, so I looked for a Dallas RV consignment place, and you kept popping up on the Internet.  I called y’all at Sellmyrv.com.  I couldn’t believe that within three days I was holding my check in hand and shopping for a new, bigger motorhome.

Hopefully I won’t have to sell any more RVs for a while, but if I do, y’all are the ones I will call … every time!

Thanks,

Cheers From Dallas

I Wish All Houston RV Consignment Places Were As Good As You

Friday, December 2nd, 2011

Dear Sell My RV Today,

I wish all Houston RV consignment places were as good as you are.  I just wanted to send this thank you note to let you know that you are lifesavers!  I have loved being an RVer for the last five years.  Unfortunately, due to a medical condition that I was recently diagnosed with, I will not be doing much traveling anymore, so I decided to sell my 2004 Coachmen Concord RV.

I tried the want ads in the paper and got zero serious buyers.  I really was not able to have people over to the house to show them the motorhome anyway, so I searched online for a Houston RV consignment dealer to sell my RV.

I called several places, but your establishment seemed to be the most knowledgeable and friendly.  I told them what I had and they worked up a price for me.  I was shocked when two days later the gentleman showed up at my door with a check.  I was also pretty surprised at what you offered me for my RV … pleasantly surprised!

I don’t know where your home office is, but you are the best Houston RV consignment place as far as I’m concerned.

What … Do I Have to Sell My RV For Free?

Monday, November 28th, 2011

To Whom It May Concern:

Do I have to sell my RV for free to get anyone interested in it? This was a legitimate question earlier this year.  Last February I decided to sell my RV.  When September rolled along, I figured I was doing something very wrong.  I had it in several newspapers, as well as some of the Internet auction sites … still, nothing.  I even tried parking it on a corner, and all I got was a broken window and a removal demand sticker from the police department.  I started to think that maybe I was asking way too much for it, and that maybe I’d have to advertise it for free, and maybe even pay someone to drive it away!

I had heard of SellMyRVToday.com, and for some reason I thought that if I placed it with your company for sale, there would be some sort of fee attached, or I would hve to pay something when it sold.  Actually, I learned that I was very wrong.  When I called, you sent someone to my home in California to inspect it.  Once they assessed the value, they made me an offer, and honestly I was pretty surprised.  They didn’t seem to try to lowball me or anything like that. I thought that there must be a catch, but if there was, it never came along!  Within three days I had my check in hand. Wow, that was really simple.

For what it is worth, I just wanted the public to know that this is a very legitimate, professional operation, and I will use them again if the opportunity ever comes back up!

Kindly,

Mitch Eyring

Consignment RV – NH

Monday, November 21st, 2011

I’m looking for consignment RV-NH options. New Hampshire seems to offer a ton of methods for purchase, but when it comes time to sell I feel the options are limited.

I’ve really enjoyed my RV, but it’s time to sell it. I need to find a place that will really help me through the process of selling the vehicle because I have no experience. I’ve never even sold a family vehicle, much less a motorhome. I know that there are rules related to the transfer of the title, but I don’t feel comfortable handling the process on my own. I know that there are rules about how and why to pay off the lien on the vehicle, but I’m not sure what to do about the fact that I owe less than the vehicle is worth. Does the buyer pay the bank or me? If they pay the bank, will the bank pay me the difference? The entire process has left me in a tailspin and I wasn’t able to find any local consignment RV-NH companies to answer my questions.

I need to sell the vehicle in order to pay off my home loan now that my husband is ill and won’t be working or handling any of the finances. My inexperience is making me nervous and I don’t have the luxury of not worrying about getting ripped off.

Can you help me? I’m hoping that you have all the experience that I’m missing. I assume also that you have a network of buyers because you’ve been doing this for so long with such a seemingly successful record of sales that people know to come to you for quality RVs.

Could you let me know what, if anything, I need to do to prepare my RV for sale through your company? I’m willing to do what it necessary, I just don’t really have a good idea of what that might be. Any advice? Suggestions? Requirements?
I know that I’d get different information from different outlets, but I like the information I saw on your site and appreciate the straightforward nature of your company. You like to help people get their RVs sold and I need to sell my RV. I’m in. What do I need to do get my RV ready to go?

Thanks,

Clueless in NH
