Mission Bay RV Resort – This is a beautiful and spacious RV park located in the Mission Bay area in San Diego. It is a gated park with 24-hour security. There are full hook ups and 50 RV sites. Cable TV and WIFI are provided as well. There are many amenities including bathhouses, laundries and a snack shack. The beaches of the bay are reachable from the RV Park. There is even a boat ramp and jet ski rentals close by. Reservations can be made online and rates range between $50-$95 a night.
Campland on the Bay – Campland is located on the shores of Mission Bay. It has been open since 1969 and is part of the Mission Bay Park. The campground is so close to SeaWorld that you can watch their fireworks display each night. There are swimming pools, Jacuzzis, bathrooms and showers, a marina, bike and Jet Ski rentals, along with many other great conveniences. Another special thing about Campland is that it overlooks the Kendall Frost Wildlife reserve. This is a wonderful place for birding-enthusiasts to see many egrets, black-crowned night herons and other birds.
There is a large price range for different spots in the park, depending on the time of year you are there. The least expensive rates during the cheapest season is only $39 a night, and the most expensive of the highest seasonal rates is $450 per night. Average prices are $70 in winter and $90 in the summer.
