How many resolutions have you made this year? How many are the same as those that you have made in the past? Do you make the same resolutions every year? Countless goal setters find themselves in the same boat. It’s time to put an end to the repetitiveness of New Year’s Resolutions. Reach a satisfactory end in 2013 by considering how to actually reach the end mark. We recommend using your RV to resolve some of your open-ended goals. In most cases, RV travel can be the perfect solution.

Everyone knows resolutions can be tough. People wouldn’t need to “resolve” to do something and give themselves a year to get it done if it was going to be easy. Resolutions are difficult and many of us find them so difficult that they start to seem impossible-always out of reach. We end up making the same goal again and again each time New Year’s rolls around.
If you’re looking to actually get some resolutions completed this year take a step back. Maybe you’re too close to the problem to see the simple solution. Getting out on the road in your RV is the simple solution. If you have resolved to travel more simply sit in the driver’s seat of your RV more often and drive it out of town. That’s using the RV to travel more. If you’ve resolved to spend more time with family and loved ones, invite people you love/like to come with you when you sit down to drive the RV out of town. If you’ve resolved to try new things or do new things you could simply take a new road out of town. You’ll most likely end up somewhere you haven’t been before, doing “new” things that you’ve never experienced on previous trips.
It sounds ridiculously simple, doesn’t it? Maybe we’re all trying too hard. Maybe the fear of never completing our New Year’s Resolutions has inhibited our productive behavior disallowing us from getting to our goals. Or maybe there are just a lot of silly people in the world who have a bad habit of ignoring their own New Year’s Resolutions. Don’t ignore your resolutions. Get in the RV. You made those resolutions for a reason. This is going to be the best year yet.

This is such a good idea. I’m going to focus on HOW I’m getting my resolutions done this year instead of what they are. Maybe relating them all to one area of my life will help.

I’ve already marked “travel more” off my list. We bought an RV early January 2013. And we’ve already traveled more in 2013 than we did in all of 2012. It’s been great.

Just bought our RV last month. We are planning more vacations this year than ever before. I hope to mark “travel more” off my list too!
