Pros and Cons of Selling RV on Consignment
April 27, 2012 3:55 pmWhat are the pros and cons of selling RV on consignment? The consign RV options seem much better than selling by owner, but is it the only choice? I’d like to sell my RV, but I don’t want to waste my time. I also want to get a fair price for the vehicle according to the current market value. What’s the difference between a local consignment RV lot and working with SellMyRVToday.com?
SellMyRVToday.com has the answers.
What are the pros and cons of selling RV on consignment?
The biggest pro of selling RV on consignment is that there are professionals involved. They will handle the majority of the paperwork so there won’t be constant worries on the sellers’ part about getting the right paperwork completed with the right info in the right places. They will also handle the face-to-face time with potential buyers. Selling RV on consignment is definitely less hassle for the seller in comparison to selling by owner. The most obvious con of consignment lots is that they aren’t typically any faster than selling by owner. They often take months to complete a sale.
Is the RV consignment lot the only choice other than selling by owner?
Many believe this to be the case, but it isn’t true. With SellMyRVToday.com you have the benefit of working with one of the largest professional RV buyers in the country.
What’s the difference between the local consignment RV lot and working with SellMyRVToday.com?
The biggest difference is the time frame. When you work with us, you can expect to have the deal completed in a few days rather than the few months that is typical of consignment recreational vehicle lots. We’ve got the entire process down to a science. With us there’s no guessing. You call in and we’ll let you know right away what purchase price we are willing to offer, and a time frame for completion of sale. In most cases, the deal is done in 1 to 3 days. It’s a big difference.

Hi
Wish to sell my Class A 2013 THOR ACE 30.1feet with 21000miles but would like to know the process and also how you figure sell price?. The recent NADA puts a low retail at $65000 and high of $75000 with all of our options and larger AC (15,000BTU). What is percentage of cost of sale do you take? . Where is RV taken?? We live in Vero Beach Florida. RV in Sebastian Fl where we are living in it pending the closing on our new home Dec 29. Thanks. Mike Nye
